Rochelle Heights Racquet Club (RHRC) is a private tennis club located within the historic neighborhood of Rochelle Heights in New Rochelle, NY.   All memberships are “family” memberships meaning every member of your household will have access to club programming.  We offer youth and adult programming throughout the season that is appropriate for beginners to experienced club players.  RHRC has two tennis courts, so we limit the number of memberships to insure court availability for all members.  Court reservations are easily managed through our online court reservations system.  Each year, existing members are given the opportunity to renew, afterwards all new memberships are granted on a first come, first served basis and are open to everyone regardless of where you live.  We have members who live throughout Westchester County, Connecticut, and New York City.

One of the most distinguishing features of RHRC is our usage of red clay surface for both of our courts.  This is very rare for most tennis facilities in the U.S.  It is widely acknowledged amongst tennis coaches and aficionados that young players who learn to play on clay surfaces develop into smarter, more patient, and more fit players than those who grow up playing on hard courts.  Clay courts surfaces slow the game down, requiring a player to implement vital strategies and consistency to be successful.  For all players, the surface is also better on the knees, making it a favorite amongst the injured and weathered.

Throughout the season RHRC hosts doubles and singles tournaments, as well as a season long tennis ladder.  Our season typically begins in late May and runs until Thanksgiving (weather dependent).  Family memberships are $450.  Discounted memberships for $375 are available if you register prior to April 1.  In additional there is a $25 discount for all dues paying Rochelle Heights Association Members.
